Founder ~ Jill Gabbert, Occupational Therapist
Jill received her OT degree from College of St. Catherine and a Psychology degree from Augustana College. Jill has been an occupational therapist for over 25 years and has worked in a variety of settings, but majority of her OT career has been working with older adults. For the past 10 years, she owned and operated a multi-state therapy company who specializes in outpatient therapy at senior living communities.
Recently, she has felt God's call on her life to return to caring directly for people in need by providing outpatient OT for adults in their private homes. Through this, Jill started Foundations, in the fall of 2025.
Jill's specialty certifications include: LSVT Big, Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) and she is a Certified Instructor in Dementia Capable Care.
Jill is married to her husband Matt, and they have 3 adult children. Away from work, Jill enjoys bible study, volunteering at church, vacationing with family, and watching the Vikings. A few highlights would be a recent trip to Ethiopia to fit and distribute wheelchairs. She has sung in the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris, on Omaha Beach in Normandy for the 50th anniversary of D-Day with the Augustana College Choir.
